Ava August
At 14, Ava August performed before an SOLD OUT audience of 30,000 fans who gathered at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles before the Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August's performances with the Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) as well as the L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) had to be cancelled because of COVID-19. Ava August, at the age of 15, became one of the youngest contestants and judges of American Idol Season 19. Ava August was awarded the GOLDEN Tickets during the Audition Round. Following that, the Genre, Duets, Showstoppers, Celebrity/Solo and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was chosen to be in the TOP 10 by the American populace. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava August also performed an amazing duet with internationally recognized celebrity Josh Groban. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed song Daybreak at the age of 15. It was accompanied with her first animated music video. Daybreak as well as Tropical Surf Hour was broadcasted on KX93.5 AM in the early morning on 11/01/20. Daybreak also aired on 11/29/20 at 88.5 FM LA/OC to the 11M Southern California listeners.
